Today's Homemade Soups and Muffins!

Good Morning,

It's a gorgeous morning at The Baldpate Inn with the sun cascading through the mountains and the birds chirping outside. It's the perfect day to come visit us and enjoy our homemade soup and salad buffet.

Today's soups are White Chili which pairs nicely with a glass of Two Rivers Chardonnay and my personal favorite the Broccoli Cheddar soup which tastes delicious with a glass of Forest Glen Pinot Grigio.

We also have a few homemade muffins and breads for your enjoyment. Today our specialty muffins are Oatmeal Blueberry and Trail Mix Muffins. We will also have our famous Honey Wheat Bread!

I also want to give a special congratulations to Jocelyn Holst and Martijn Bolster who celebrated their rehearsal dinner at The Baldpate Inn last night and who are getting married today! Thank you for a fun and festive evening!

I look forward to seeing you!

Howdy!

It's a great morning at The Baldpate Inn! The air is crisp this morning as I look out at the spectacular mountain view. The hummingbirds are already buzzing about and we're busy preparing a delicious menu for you to enjoy!

Today's soups are a vegetarian tomato rice and a hardy beef stew, both of these soups taste even better with a glass of Snowy Peaks Merlot and a piece of our famous homemade cornbread.

Along with our cornbread, we will also have our honey wheat bread, lemon ginger muffins and golden sunshine muffins! Please come and enjoy our outstanding soup and salad buffet.

Premire Event!

Good Morning! My name is Alyssa Craig and I am one of the Dining and Event's Managers for the 2010 season. I am pleased to announce the premier event of this fascinating free series, Summer Enchanged Evenings. Our first show will be this evening, June 2nd, titled Colorado Ghost Town's Part One.

This series is designated to be part history and part natural history and was organized by the Estes Park Archives. The spokesperson, John Meissner, says the talks will be part show and tell as well as topics ranging from archeology to hummingbirds.

"In some ways we will be recreating the era of the 1930s and 1940s, when Rocky Mountain National Park Rangers and other naturalists toured prominent area lodges and resorts like circuit riders, speaking on a variety of topics," Meissner said. The difference is that now we have powerpoint instead of lantern slides, and will make it easier on everyone by staying at one particular location."

A schedule of topics through the end of July are available at our website www.baldpateinn.com or you can call for more information at 970.586.6151

All of our talks will be located at the Baldpate Inn beginning at 7:00 PM. Please don't forget to join us for dinner before! Reservations are always recommended.
